How?

If you don't have a Visa or Mastercard, just send us an email with your details and preferred date and we'll get back to you within 24 hours with our bank details. Cheque or money order can also be arranged - just make sure you have arranged payment at least 7 days prior to the course to secure your place.

 

 

Pre-requisites?

 

The course assumes little or no knowledge of the software or bookkeeping. It would, however, be beneficial to have a general understanding of personal computers and the
Windows operating system environment.

The Course runs through all of the essential components of the most current version of MYOB Accounting, including:

 

-     Short Introduction to bookkeeping essentials
-     Maintaining the Chart of Accounts
-     Setting up a new company file
-     The all important “Linked Accounts”
-     Card File (the MYOB database)
-     Sales & Customer Receipts
-     Purchases & Supplier Payments
-     Cash book transactions
-     Banking & Reconciling Accounts
-     Reporting
-     Business Activity Statements

-     Customising Invoice Forms

 

Please note that payroll has been excluded due to time constraints. For those participants who are interested in setting up or learning about payroll, we have found that an onsite session can often be more effective than a class due to differences in the approach to payroll from individual organisations and industry types. Typically we can tailor a session specific to your requirements to fit into approximately two hours onsite. For those of you who prefer a class, we do run these from time to time depending on demand. These classes are not listed on the site, but we'll usually have a date in mind when we see you for your first round of training.
